Summary

The article presents an analysis of the musical art of the second half XVIII – beginning XIX centuries in Chernihiv region, which we consider an important period in the cultural development of the region. The purpose of the article is comprehensive coverage of the influence of socio-cultural, historical and economic factors on the formation of the culture of the region, with an emphasis on the role of music workshops, the development of orchestral, kobzar and bandura music, the birth of art and educational institutions and the evolution of estate culture. The research uses a comprehensive approach using historical, cultural analysis and biographical method. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the researches of K. Koperzhynskyi, who for the first time systematized the musical processes of this period, highlighting the existence of workshops and the development of school music education. The main conclusions of the article include the statement of the diversity of cultural life in Chernihiv region, which is manifested through music workshops, the development of concert activities and the formation of art education. The key role of musical art in the socio-cultural development of the region and its influence on the national cultural identity is indicated. The article demonstrates how the musical art of Chernihiv region played an important role in the all-Ukrainian cultural space, contributing to the preservation and development of national traditions. The conclusions emphasize the importance of Chernihiv region in the formation of Ukrainian musical culture, which influenced the cultural development of the region and its importance for the preservation of national identity. This publication makes a significant contribution to the understanding of the history of Ukrainian music, offering new perspectives for further research in this direction.
