Based on the latest experience of leading libraries in the development and implementation of innovative models of library development, the article examines and researches the forms and methods of library and information service for users of the National Scientific Agricultural Library of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (NNSGB NAAS) using innovative technologies.

The way of structural and organizational renewal of technical and technological modernization of all library processes for the promotion of information resources, services and products created in the NNSGB of the National Academy of Sciences was analyzed.

It has been found that the main condition of comprehensive library and information service is the unhindered access of users to the electronic information resource (EIR) presented on the institution's web portal (dnsgb.com.ua).

It has been established that electronic information resources (EIR) are a promising direction in the strategy of library development and meeting the needs of the necessary mass of information both of users of the NNSGB of the National Academy of Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences and of the target community in general.
