| Summary |
|
The article explores the role of testing agricultural machinery as a key instrument for increasing the efficiency of agricultural production during the post-war recovery period of Ukraine. The study's relevance is driven by the urgent need for technical re-equipment of the agricultural sector under resource constraints, rising operational costs, and the necessity for adaptation to new economic and climatic challenges. The aim of the research is to scientifically substantiate the effectiveness of the agricultural machinery testing system in post-crisis conditions through an analysis of its historical evolution, technical parameters, organizational framework, and managerial potential. The methodological basis includes the structural-functional approach, comparative analysis of regulatory standards (DСТU, ISO, OECD), historical and logical examination of testing functions' transformation, and systems-based efficiency evaluation elements. The study establishes that, under contemporary conditions, the results of machinery testing are increasingly transformed from a purely technical procedure into a full-fledged strategic planning tool. Adaptive and combined testing approaches that reflect field-specific usage, logistical complexity, and managerial needs are outlined. Key barriers to implementing tested machinery are identified: limited financial resources, a shortage of qualified personnel, weak feedback mechanisms between producers and users, and restricted access to reliable performance data. The feasibility of transitioning to a hybrid testing model that combines the precision of laboratory methods with the practical representativeness of field studies is demonstrated. The practical value of the study lies in developing recommendations for the digitalization of testing procedures, establishing regional demonstration platforms, modernizing professional training, and integrating testing results into agricultural enterprise management strategies. Prospective areas for further research include developing intelligent verification systems and implementing digital evaluation standards for agricultural machinery.
