The article examines the role of the national agrarian bibliography as a modern information platform aimed at providing effective access to systematized knowledge on agrarian topics. The methodological basis of the study is general scientific and special methods of cognition. The source search and analysis of major publications were used. A systematic approach was used to study the problem under study as an integral object.

The main functions of agrarian bibliography are highlighted, in particular, information retrieval, analytical, retrospective, educational and methodological, coordination and digitalization. The article considers agrarian bibliography not only as a source of knowledge, but also as an integrated information platform that provides scientific, educational and innovative activities in the field of agricultural sciences. The role of the National Scientific Agricultural Library of NAAS in the development of the national agricultural bibliography is outlined. The main achievements of the institution are highlighted, its contribution to ensuring scientific communication, meeting the information needs of society, forming a holistic view of the bibliographic resource of the agricultural profile and ensuring free access to it is analyzed. The prospects for the development of the national agricultural bibliography in the context of digital transformation of the information environment, including the introduction of digital technologies, integration with international bibliographic resources and open access to scientific data, are considered.

The study emphasizes the importance of bibliography as a tool for preserving scientific heritage and stimulating innovation in the field of agricultural science and education.
