In the context of the rapid development of the agro-industrial complex and the global digitalization of science, the role of agricultural libraries is undergoing significant transformation. The traditional paradigm of libraries as static repositories of printed materials is exhausting its potential, giving way to dynamic models of information interaction. Today, the agricultural library is becoming a high-tech information hub and an active participant in the system of scientific communication, providing intellectual support for research at all stages - from idea to implementation. The process of digital transformation, despite its urgent necessity for the competitiveness of the sector, faces a number of systemic challenges. These include: the use of outdated methods for processing and cataloging intellectual assets; a low level of integration of local resources into the global scientific information space; and a shortage of specialists with advanced digital competencies capable of working with large datasets (Big Data) and scientometric tools. Given these issues, the relevance of this research is determined by the need for theoretical justification and practical development of a comprehensive model for the digital support of agricultural science. Such a model should organically combine fundamental library principles with modern technological approaches (cloud services, open repositories, automated search systems). This will make it possible to create a unified digital ecosystem that facilitates the effective transfer of knowledge from the theoretical sphere directly into practical agricultural production, thereby stimulating innovative development in the sector.
