The importance of soy for human health and life in the creative heritage of academician A. O. Babich is emphasized by the methods of concrete historical analysis and systemic approach. Scientific intelligence uses the principles of historicism, objectivity, problem-chronological and others. Carrying out a scientific analysis of the scientist's monograph «Soy for health and life on the planet Earth», which to a certain extent summarizes everything that has been done on this culture throughout the history of its cultivation. It is worth noting that the author has been accumulating his own research for many years, studying and collecting information about the medicinal and nutritional properties, fodder qualities of soybeans, which in terms of the area of sowing and the volume of production took fifth place among the main crops on planet Earth. It has been found that the soybean crop, in addition to its critical role in ensuring food security and agronomic significance, plays a key role in human nutrition and health. Soy have attracted the attention of scientists, specialists, and farmers for many years due to their widespread use by the population in large and developed countries to solve the problem of protein and vegetable oil, and developing countries are expanding the production and use of soy. In particular, soy prevents a number of cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis, kidney disease, hypertension, and gastrointestinal disorders. It has a great future because it satisfies humanity's food needs. It will retain its place of honor among the most important agricultural crops. The study was carried out with the aim of studying and scientifically understanding the work of the academician of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor A. О. Babich. In particular, the emphasis is on new areas of use in nutrition, unique healing properties, and the latest approaches to the prevention and treatment of severe and chronic diseases.
