The article describes the experience of organizing work with the collections of rare publications of the XIX-early XX centuries of the National Scientific Agricultural Library of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (NSAL of NAAS), which are included in the State Register of National Cultural Heritage of Ukraine. We are talking about the «Collection of Publications Published in the XIX Century on Agricultural Subjects of the NSAL NAAS» and the «Collection of Scientific Publications of 1901-1917 from the Collections of the NSAL NAAS». Production processes include the formation and storage of funds, the use of traditional and innovative technologies, scientific and historical research of collections, and the presentation of rare publications. The study and preservation of rare agrarian collections for future generations is of particular importance in the context of Russian aggression.

The article uses general scientific and structural-functional research methods. Using the historical, biographical and source analysis methods, the main collections of the "Fund of publications published in the XIX century. on Agricultural Issues of the National Scientific Library of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine": old printed books, civilian publications, publications with autographs of prominent state and scientific figures, books on the formation and development of agricultural scientific thought, periodicals, lifetime publications of prominent agricultural scientists, book printing centers, foreign publications, encyclopedias and Ukrainian-language books and magazines from the «Collection of Scientific Publications of 1901-1917 from the Funds of the National Scientific Library of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine». It is noted that Ukrainian-language publications of the early twentieth century are a bibliographic rarity, as they were published under the conditions of the tsarist government's ban on Ukrainian book printing, so the authors were forced to publish under fictitious names. The list of authors of Ukrainian-language texts in the national magazines «Rillya» and «Khliborob» by their pseudonyms and cryptonyms is determined. New pseudonyms of the prominent Ukrainian figure, agronomist, cooperator, and publisher A. Ternychenko and the author of articles on animal husbandry M. Shandybin are revealed.

Innovative forms of preservation and representation of the objects of national heritage of the NSAL NAAS are outlined.
